Payperpost, a thing I love!
payperpost is a new and exciting opportunity for everyone across the globe to discuss their passions and the things they love. I first heard about this experience from a friend who knows my love for writing and thought I'd be great for blogging. I thought "getting paid to write, what more could I ask for?" This company ultimately means a lot of things but most importantly it means the freedom of expression. I'm a female with a young fresh mind and a lot on it, so at the end of the day it's nice to know that people are interested in hearing what I have to say. And as a college student pressed for time, sometimes a job isn't an option. A hectic schedule leaves not much availability. But with PayPerPost I can work from home and talk about things that I enjoy. Also, while writing, I simultaneously get to hear what others have to say. It's a whole other network outside my normal realm of friends, with a huge variety of ideas. Hearing the same position all day can get stale, so it's gratifying to hear a different perspective. PayPerPost, "get paid to talk about the things you love".

I-sistant
The craze over Apple's iPhone launch has engendered expectations that are almost impossible for one company to adhere to. But having no standards, the iPhone becomes an amazing device that deserves the impressive buzz. Apple has finally released a phone that does it all- a sleek machine that produces music, and Internet all in one touch. Perhaps this is every woman’s dream? A hand held device, that allows your fingertips to do the shopping, no matter where you are. It takes care of boring office meetings, and saves a trip to the mall. Still, the iPhone has its imperfections. If you’re willing to pay the price, it could empty out your wallet. There have also been speculations of the phone freezing, sometimes preventing you to pick up your phone calls. But everything aside, if the monetary value doesn’t matter, the iphone is a great accessory for any decor.

Getting my hair cut; it’s a ritual that makes me feel beautiful, it’s a ceremony that puts me in an idyllic frame of mind, and it is a service that is almost impossible to find. With all the cosmetology degrees out there, one could presume that finding a great hair stylist would be a pretty easy task, and then they would be wrong. But before you completely rule out outsourcing this job and resort to at home colors in a box, I have discovered a place capable of the job. Prive Salon at The Shoppes at Millenia was a full service salon that held true to its star reputation. Besides my haircut, the scalp massage and shampooing was alone worth paying for. Heed my advice and make an appointment, this kind of hospitality and performance would never appear out of a Walgreen’s do-it-yourself.

Keep Pouring
Saturday April 18th marks the day of wine, cheese and smiles at the downtown Pour in downtown Orlando. I was working the event at the 98.9 Wmmo tent but even though I didn’t get to experience the event as a customer, the Pour was still wonderful. And seeing it from an employee’s point of view, I still felt the amazing energy. Once admitted for a $35 bargain, everyone could go around to several wine tents and flavor the many wines offered. If you liked what you tasted you could order it to be delivered to your home. And if it wasn’t exactly what you were "tasting" that day, you could move to a different booth with just as many selections. There was something for all pallets. I was left asking "can you pour me another".

Its about time
In every woman’s life there are three defining moments: your first kiss, getting your first boyfriend, and a day at the spa. Well my day had arrived and Bonjour day spa catered to my every luxurious dream. It was everything I had imagined; pungent white lilies, soft breeze soundtracks and products to die for. My first appointment was a one-hour massage and by the end, sore muscles were a distant memory. I felt like I needed to be peeled away from the table. The missus was attentive and was always making sure I was at my peak comfort level. I also experienced my first professional pedicure. Normally I get my toes done by amateurs that, with the language barriers, don’t even know what I'm asking for half the time. But at Bonjour my pedicurist was meticulous and flawless. She even redid a toe when it wasn’t absolutely perfect. My days of searching for me perfect spa have ended. Never again will I have to search for the perfect spa experience. Bonjour day spa was a true milestone in my female life.

A very full moon
"Good old college heaven" says my boyfriend, who had just recently graduated with a degree in hand. While scarfing down a monster piece of pizza at Lazy Moon Pizza, he was reminded of the days when a huge slice was all you needed to get through exam week. With a wide variety of toppings and mixtures, the tastes are endless. But it’s the winning combination of a titanic length and a petite width that fulfills every stomach needs. The hippie, charismatic shop on the corner also offers a variety of beers and maybe with enough, you can take the lazy moon challenge of eating a whole pizza. But a word to the wise, no one intoxicated or sober has ever conquered this quest under 30 minutes. So if you’re in search of some college spirit, come visit lazy moon pizza for good old UCF heaven.

Who needs sun?
Jergens natural glow express, in my opinion, holds true to its promises. The company has three alluring elements that every consumer expects to receive after trying this product. The lotion is very natural looking with no streaks, it’s fast acting, and it leaves your skin feeling soft and beautiful. Normally, despite my mother’s support, I would rather run to the tanning bed, as it has always worked better for me in the past. But after tactful advertising and clever syntax, I could no longer resist Jergens. The first day I admit was not too convincing. I wasn’t as artificially sun kissed as promised, but it was still too soon to jump to conclusions. But by the second and third day, I was pleased to say that a day in the tanning bed wouldn’t be necessary. I was as radiant as a day at Miami Beach and what’s better; my skin was soft and moisturized. Another winning product, and mother approved.

I love Mark
When I heard that there was going to be a makeup and beauty launch for Meet Mark's new line of products, naturally I was thrilled. As a true girly girl, there’s nothing I’d like to do more on a Sunday night then get made over like it’s prom night all over again. The affair was a winter wonderland of decadence; white linens, white chocolate, everything was white short of actually snow. The atmosphere was classy, romantic, and the products were heavenly. The staff began with a Meeting Mark facial that had my face glowing for the rest of my night. It was as refreshing as a real day at the spa. Then my night was finished with a full make- over complete with beauty tips and secrets. By the end of the night I was almost convinced I was actually in L.A, I would have definitely been red carpet ready. I met, I saw, I loved; the event was a perfect way to end my week.

It’s always nice to occasionally treat yourself to the finer things in life. For me, that means a day shopping at Stalhi; a local fashion store in Orlando that caters to women who want to dress like the stars. This boutique only sells clothes or accessories that have been seen on a celebrity. But maybe the exquisite service you would get as a celebrity is not included. While shopping for a new dress in Stalhi, I was ignored for the first ten minutes and then sneered at upon requesting a size from the back of the store. I was not expecting a glass of wine or sparkling water but obviously buying high priced and exclusive retail does not in fact buy you the respect of the celebrity. I couldn’t help but wonder, are we all "pretty women" to someone. We should all think twice before judging Julia Roberts again.
